"It has been a long journey, this writing of my first novel, Jedediah, and a Tale of Revenge. I actually wrote the draft of the book almost ten years ago and submitted it to a host of prominent publishers. In answer I received thirty seven reject letters, most because I was an unpublished author. About two years ago, I was directed to American Book Publishing by a friend, and they expressed interest in the type book that I had written. At their request I sent them a copy of the manuscript and here came the contract. They treated me with respect and genuine interest from the beginning. It was a new experience for me, my journey into the world of published authors. I am convinced that I would not be in this select group of creative people today had I not met ABP. Thank you, dear people.
From the beginning I was encouraged by the director of operations and he paired me with Ms. Catherine Donaldson as my editor. This fine lady led me through the process of internet editing and it became a partnership. She corrected my
grammar, and questioned my story from time to time, encouraging me to rewrite portions and add new
explanatory sections.
Her interest, I felt was genuine, and she made me feel that ABP wanted to produce my novel. She encouraged and let me argue my case about sections of the manuscript, and I feel that we have put together a darn good story. If I write again, I want Catherine to be my editor.
I deeply appreciate the help given by Mr. Jeffrey T. Townsend, again and again, encouraging and explaining the
marketing process.
Jana Rade did a magnificent job on the cover, letting me have all the input I could possibly ask for. Jana pulled it all together, far more than meeting my expectations. I appreciate the marketing summary on the back cover by Don Koenig who went out of his way to write a sparkling comment on my novel.
May I say finally, Thank you, everyone at American Book Publishing for making Jedediah, and a Tale of Revenge a reality. God bless you. I shall come again to your doors with a sequel as soon as it is finished."

"It was a seamless process from the first draft to
the printer with this team of experts! They maintained close contact while
steering me through each phase of the project, and the turnaround time was
amazingly fast. Editorial re-writes managed to transform even the most boring
and obscure passages with clarity and captivating style. Design
work for the layout of the text was just as I had imagined, but the book cover
exceeded all my expectations. They’ve raised the bar well above their
competitors in terms of credibility and quality."

"As a
first-time novelist, I found American Book to be especially helpful. I am very
pleased with the editing and design services and look forward to marketing and

to the manuscript but who also fielded my innumerable questions about the
publishing process. Wanda is also proving helpful as promotional activities
get underway.
I am also appreciative of the contributions of

production to be professional and dedicated. All concerned have worked
hard to produce a professional product. Marlena Doucette did an exceptionally
well job with the editing and made good recommendations for changes to

design of the book cover provided sound guidance and did a good job creating
the cover. Overall, I think that the services were good."

"As a first-time author, it was a daunting task
trying to find a publishing company that would take a professional interest in
me as an author and in my book. I found American Book Publishing through the
Internet and was impressed with the content of their website, the positive
comments made by their published authors and their willingness to accept
manuscripts from new authors.
From the beginning, it has been a wonderful journey
working with a variety of talented and experienced personnel in the editing,
design, production and marketing departments. It was a rewarding experience
working with my assigned editor, Tamar Schmidt, who was willing to listen to
my ideas and to offer suggestions to help add depth and insight to my novel. I
appreciate very much her enthusiasm and encouragement throughout the entire
editing process. I look forward to working with her again on my next novel!
The design department created a wonderful cover for my
book which truly exceeded all of my expectations. Thank you to Jana Rade and
Tim Jensen!
All personnel I have been associated with have been
very experienced in their fields and have given me the direction and
encouragement needed to transform my manuscript into a polished novel that I
am very proud of. I particularly enjoyed the regular updates on how my book
was progressing. They always kept me informed, showing that they genuinely
care about their authors. I feel very privileged to have been given the
opportunity of publishing my book with ABP. They are a wonderful publishing
company and I recommend them most highly to any new author. I look forward to
working with this talented team again!"

"I knew I had a good story when I sent it
in to American Book, but thanks to their fantastic, author-friendly,
personal editing services, I was able to find the exact story I wanted
to tell.
My editor was careful to guide me in
adjusting any confusions and providing professional advice, but he and
American Book went out of their way to ensure that the work was my own
throughout the whole process.
Besides that, their design team did a
great job of listening to my advice and tailoring a cover that fit my
tastes. Even after their first rendition didn't quite capture my vision,
they happily reworked it until they gave me something that was even
better than I could have imagined."

"American Book Company
combines professional service along with friendly and courteous staff. The
editing staff is extremely helpful in making a difficult process as clear

American Book provides its authors is uncommon in a world where intimacy

The personal and professional

"As a new writer, I found it incredibly difficult for anyone in the industry to even notice me, let alone sample some of my work. It seemed to be a closed shop until I came across ABP. At first I was
skeptical, as I didn't want to involve myself in 'vanity publishing', but what I found instead was an opportunity to enter a whole new world - the world of publishing. After the initial
excitement I discovered my editor actually wanted me to work - and work hard! Steering me to change my novel from an amateur piece with potential to, dare I say, the genuine article - a book I am not only proud of but one which deserves its place on YOUR bookshelf!
Aside from the editing, ABP heavily involved me in the design, so the cover is just how I wanted it, the final stages of production and now the marketing. I sincerely could not have wished for a better first experience, learning all the way and as long as you are willing to put the effort in, ABP will help and guide you to the finished product. Thank you ABP!!!"

"Working with the American Book Press has been a tremendous pleasure.
Their experience and creativity in dealing with the complicated book
market has been invaluable.
Their work in editing and designing my book has been fantastic, especially
the professional cover design. Though they have very clear ideas about how
to create books, they are very responsive to author's wishes and ideas.
This is not a cookie cutter operation. Without their direction and
encouragement, I would have gotten nowhere with this project. With their
contribution, I've turned my manuscript into a book that I'm really proud
of. I would definitely publish with them again."

"Although I was a first time, unknown author,
American Book Publishing accepted my book for publication. The Author's
Guide gave me a detailed explanation of the necessary steps required for
publication. Through the expertise of my editor, Linda Casey, my writing
was transformed from a simple manuscript to a polished, professionally
written book.
The Design Department at American Book came up
with a book cover design that, together with the title, can be described

“In recent months, I
have had the good fortune of working with Ann Marie Letourneau on
my long biography, A Lifetime
in the Eye of the Storm. She is a wonderful editor. I am not
merely referring to her professional and flawless editing, which comes
from a keen attention to detail. Beyond her astuteness in suggesting
changes and her unerring sense of balance, she has what great editing is
about—the total grasp of the author’s vision, and the ability and desire
to help the latter in his ambition to impart that vision.
Behind any published work
of an author, a seasoned publisher or critic recognizes the editor. I will
always be happy to give recognition to the outstanding quality of Ann
Marie’s editing in this biography, and I hope in my other works soon to
be published by American Book Publishing.”

"I have appreciated the professional approach of the ABP staff . They take
their work seriously and are good at what they do. I know that my book presented
special and unique challenges because of the size of the manuscript, but every
problem was promptly addressed and solved in the best possible way. I especially
appreciated the outstanding work of Jana Rade, who designed the cover, of Bonnie S. Darrington, the copy editor, and of Jennifer Blackwell-Yale who did the
final production formatting and prepared the manuscript for the printer.
Their
work was done cheerfully and professionally. Jeffrey Townsend, who has been
encouraging me in the development of my marketing plan, has given me some great
insights into how to give my book visibility and give it every fair chance to succeed.
From time to time I was frustrated that all communication was by e-mail, but in the

"Being an amateur writer with "Liquid
Courage" being my first work, I had no Idea of how to began locating
someone to make my life long dream come true. I've always dreamed of
writing a fiction novel. I searched the Internet for a company that could

filled with web sites of book companies willing to turn my rough draft
into a finished book. I contacted many sites for information. I was much
impressed when the
Director of Operations, of American-book publishing and the literature of how the American-book's staff worked closely with the
author.
Harlow Keith was my editor. He worked many days and nights turning my
rough draft into a story that the reader could follow. Once he completed
the last edit of "Liquid Courage," the flow of the story was great.
Harlow went way beyond the call of duty to help me. I'll have to tell you;
he had his hands full with my incorrect spelling, grammar, sentence
structure, and my patients. Thanks Harlow for your great editing
expertise. I also would like to thank Bill Milnazik for the design of my

"The goal of American Book Publishing is to publish quality books.
They choose their authors carefully. The editors are chosen to enhance the authors' thoughts and ideas into a finished product that
will not be forgotten. My editor (Harlow J. Keith) did just that.
Next up, Jana Rade of the Design Department did a wonderful job
fulfilling what I would like for the cover design of my book, "Walking Down The Wrong Path." The cover designer of my book, Tim Jensen, (an
extremely talented artist) went far beyond what I asked for and created a, "masterpiece" for my cover. After the editing was
finished, I discovered there was a computer glitz and many corrections had to be made on my manuscript. Book Production Manager, Jennifer M.

"I am much obliged to American Book Publishing Group for their expert editing and design of my book "The Lion of Saint Catharine". To my surprise -- having worked with some less that efficient publishers --
ABP remained in close contact with me via email from the beginning. Editing the book was exceptionally well done and professional. The editing process was even more than I expected -- not only correcting all grammatical mistakes but suggesting certain changes that almost always proved to be useful and were incorporated into the final text.
As for the art work -- wow! I never expected such a powerful and evocative cover. I've published books on commercial presses that have given me much less attention and service. Just so you know these words aren't from an amateur, I'm the author of "Appalachian Genesis"
and "The Hogs of Cold Harbor", the latter endorsed by no less than America's last living literary lion Norman Mailer, winner of two Pulitzer Prizes and The National Book Award.
