Obtaining
Rights and Permissions
We welcome you to our permissions page.
All books, articles, and materials published by American Book
PublishingÔ and its
imprint divisions are protected under copyright law. It is a legal requirement
to obtain written permission to reproduce any of our authors’ works.
Thank you for taking the first step by coming to our permissions
page. We grant permissions only in writing upon receipt of detailed written
requests.
Please provide the following information in your request:
1. Book title and author’s name.
2. Imprint name and ISBN number.
3. The precise material (page numbers, paragraphs on that page)
you wish to reproduce.
4. State the proposed use. For example, if in a publication,
state the title, publisher, and proposed date of publication.
5. Please provide any other information that may be important in
evaluating your request, such as its purpose or its source, e.g., a nonprofit
institution.
Requests should be sent to
copyright@american-book.com.
Processing time is approximately two to four weeks. Do not follow
up any sooner than four weeks after your original request.
All requests received by our copyright department are evaluated
on an individual basis, and in most cases a fee is charged. Fees are not
discussed prior to permission being granted.
